Green Rock Worm Larva - Rhyacophilidae

2.25

The Green Rock Work is an amazing little pattern to use in the early spring but continues to be a fish getter all season long. When in doubt cast one of these into the drink.

As the season progresses, the larvae of some families continue to get larger. While it may seem counter intuitive to some anglers that are used to going smaller as the season wears on, you should in fact go larger with this pattern. I start off small #16 in April and by the time September rolls around, I am fishing up to a size 8.

Bonus: This fly has strong UV reflectance.
